As a church, we have been entrusted with the greatest inheritance of all–the promises of the Gospel.  Just as God instructed the Israelites to use every opportunity to impress His commandments on the hearts of their children (Deuteronomy 6:7), we too must be intentional about the daily opportunities we’re given to pass on our faith to the next generation.  We believe leaving a legacy of genuine faith in the Gospel is maximized if parents—whom God has called to be the primary spiritual leaders of the family–team up with the church in this weighty task. “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”
